Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your safari or tour with Magnify Safaris Ltd. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payments

  • A 25–40% deposit (based on itinerary) is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid at least 30 days before your safari begins.

  • If booking within 30 days of the travel date, full payment is required.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money (M-Pesa), or secure online payment gateway (PayPal/Card).

2. Cancellation Policy

By the Client:

  • More than 60 days prior: Full refund (minus transaction fees)

  • 30–59 days prior: 50% of total cost refunded

  • 15–29 days prior: 25% refund

  • Less than 14 days: No refund

By Magnify Safaris:

  • If we cancel for any reason (except force majeure), a full refund will be issued, or an alternative date/tour will be offered.

3. Amendments to Bookings

  • Changes made more than 30 days prior to departure are subject to availability and may incur minimal administrative fees.

  • Late amendments may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, depending on supplier policies.

4. Travel Insurance

  • All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering:

    • Medical emergencies

    • Trip cancellation

    • Lost luggage

    • Personal liability

Magnify Safaris is not liable for costs arising from uninsured events.

5. Health & Medical

  • It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit for travel.

  • We recommend vaccinations (e.g. Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A) as per your country’s travel advisory.

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions in advance.

6. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

  • Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and entry documentation for Kenya or any other destinations.

  • Most visitors to Kenya require an eVisa, which must be applied for online prior to travel at eCitizen.

7. Wildlife & Safety Disclaimer

  • While every effort is made to ensure your safety, wildlife encounters are inherently unpredictable.

  • Always follow your guide’s instructions and lodge safety rules.

  • Magnify Safaris is not liable for injuries or accidents resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines.

8. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by force majeure, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Political unrest

  • Strikes

  • Epidemics/pandemics

  • Travel bans or airport closures

In such cases, we will do our best to reschedule or offer travel credit.

9. Liability & Limitation

  • Magnify Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, airlines, and transport services.

  • We are not liable for loss, damage, injury, delay, or cancellation caused by third-party suppliers.

  • Our total liability in any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the safari.

10. Photographs & Marketing

  • During safaris, photos and videos may be taken for promotional use on our website and social media.

  • If you prefer not to be featured, please inform us in writing before or during the tour.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from bookings or services provided shall be resolved through arbitration or courts within Nairobi, Kenya.
